Delete your Squishy account and data

How to delete your account in the app
To delete your Sync account and associated cloud data:
- Open Squishy.
- Go to Settings → Sync with Chrome.
- Select Delete sync account and confirm.
What is deleted
This permanently deletes your email sign-in account, linked devices, and account-owned sync data from our servers — including your email address, device records, synced health, streak, skin, difficulty, daily happiness history, recent activity, partner-notification preferences, and notification-delivery records tied to your account. It ends Sync and removes you from Shared Squishy. If another active member shares the pet, the shared Squishy and its history remain with that person.
We delete this cloud data immediately after you confirm — the deletion runs right away on our servers and is not queued or soft-deleted. Residual copies may persist in our encrypted database backups for a short period, no more than 30 days, before those backups are automatically cycled out. We do not otherwise retain your sync data for legal, security, or accounting purposes.
What is not deleted
Your Google Play subscription is managed separately through Google Play and is not cancelled by deleting your Sync account. Manage or cancel it in the Google Play app under Subscriptions. (On iPhone, subscriptions are managed in your Apple ID settings.)
Local data stored only on your device is not removed; uninstall the app or clear app storage to remove it.
Product analytics are collected under an app-assigned identifier. Deleting in the app resets the active analytics identity on that device, but historical analytics are not automatically part of sync-account deletion. Contact us if you want a separate analytics privacy request. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Show photos are not part of account deletion because Squishy never stores them in your account or database. Limited verification and anti-abuse records, such as prompt, outcome, reward, and timestamps, may remain without a direct user-ID link so we can prevent duplicate rewards, enforce limits, investigate abuse, and maintain service integrity.
If you no longer have the app
Email hello@blankslateapps.com from the email address you used to sign in and ask us to delete your account. We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
